Nestled within The Arts Club on Dover Street, Kyubi brings a precise and considered Japanese menu to one of London's most distinguished addresses. The wagyu kyubites are exceptional — tender, deeply flavoured, and worth the visit alone. The chocolate fondant is one of the better endings to a meal in Mayfair.

Perched atop The OWO on Whitehall, Kioku is among the most accomplished Japanese restaurants to open in London in recent years. The akami and chutoro tartare is a study in restraint and precision. The kikicha crème brûlée is one of the most original desserts in the city. And the black cod — lacquered, yielding, deeply flavoured — is simply the best in London.
